When you follow a wide variety of pages you'll see that there are a massive amount of Trump supporters who think it's IMPOSSIBLE that he'll lose. Pretty scary stuff... everyone should be able to admit their candidate MIGHT not win. These are often the same people who say they don't believe in polls because they were never asked, yet they think Trump is guaranteed a victory because everybody they know is voting for him. They think THAT is a good poll??? That's literally the worst poll imaginable!
Can you think of a worse poll than Trump supporters thinking he's guaranteed a win because everyone they know thinks the same thing? Maybe a prison inmate saying that everyone he asked believes that inmates shouldn't have their right to bear arms infringed upon.

Zuzu was asking me a question at Goodwill yesterday but I couldn't understand her. I kept asking her what she was saying and she kept saying it louder and louder. Once everybody in the store could hear her I finally realized what she was asking, "Daddy, why did you leave a stinker?"
If that was Gretel's plan, it was ingenious. She was the stinker-leaver but told Zuzu it was me. I'm sure that some version of this shenanigan has played out over the entirety of human history, for hundreds of thousands of years if not millions.

From an article on jokes for 14-year-olds.
...
To sum up:
-Ben Carson ran for president, the guy in charge of multitudes of federal agencies.
-As a neurosurgeon, he turned down Secretary of Health and Human Services, saying he never ran a federal agency and could "cripple the presidency."
-He now seems ready to accept Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.
There's no joke here. Why? REALITY IS THE NEW JOKE.
Our descendants will watch nature documentaries and laugh their asses off.

Medication List
I was at the doctor today and the nurse asked me if I brought my medication list.
me- "My what?"
her- "Your medication list."
me- "What's that?"
her- "The list of all the medications you're on."
me- "...none"
When did we switch from asking someone if they're on any medications to assuming they are? And the assumption wasn't that I was on one medication, but enough to constitute a whole list! Creepy thinking of a nation of 300 million, each with a medication list in their pocket. Think of the world our grandkids will live in- everybody walking around wrists and necks piled with medical bracelets and necklaces. Give them mohawks and they'll look like a billion B.A. Baracases. Ah, to dare to dream about the future...

Charles Darwin published On the Origin of Species on this day in 1859.
"Thus, from the war of nature, from famine and death, the most exalted object which we are capable of conceiving, namely, the production of the higher animals, directly follows. There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed into a few forms or into one; and that, whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being, evolved."

New York Times- No, Trump, We Can’t Just Get Along
"You don’t get a pat on the back for ratcheting down from rabid after exploiting that very radicalism to your advantage. Unrepentant opportunism belies a staggering lack of character and caring that can’t simply be vanquished from memory. You did real harm to this country and many of its citizens, and I will never — never — forget that."

Well that puts it in some perspective.
"The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China is the largest bank in the world. Its majority owner is the Communist government of China. ICBC's New York address is 725 5th Avenue — also known as Trump Tower.
In two months, that means, the president of the United States will be pocketing rent checks from a state-run megabank owned by the United States' largest military and economic rival."
